The website is designed to motivate & empower K-12 students in Washington State to make a difference by creating videos for a chance to win $1,000 for their school. The client came to us with a general idea of the end goal. We worked out user scenarios for how students, parents, teachers and the general public would interact with the site, and how these videos could be shared with others. We also had to consider two "states" for the website and target the messaging accordingly. The first two weeks of each month are open for submissions, and the last two weeks are open for voting. I developed the entire look and feel of the website including social media graphics, and followed through with QA throughout the development phase and post-launch.
